How is this different from clear matte PPF?
Clear matte PPF reduces reflections while retaining the original body colour. EISUI color PPF in this case covers the pearl white to create a matte-black exterior appearance.
Are the inner door areas black as well?
Photos with the doors open show that some of the original white remains visible in the door openings. Discuss any inner-door coverage you want before accepting a quote.
How much did it cost and how long did it take?
This case took 3 days and cost JPY 550,000 including tax. Quotes for other cars depend on condition and scope.
Does the three-year warranty mean the film lasts only three years?
No. Three years is the shop’s workmanship warranty, not a statement of the film’s lifespan or protection against every kind of damage. Ask for the terms before installation.
