A bonnet wrap changes part of the car’s appearance while retaining the body colour. These are the key points of this Toyota 86 project.
Blue meets black
The body stays blue, with black carbon-look film on the bonnet. Partial wrapping creates a two-colour combination without wrapping the whole car.
A patterned finish
The carbon-look pattern is part of the choice, as well as the black colour. Check a film sample and the actual car to judge the appearance.

This project covered the bonnet. We confirm the paint condition and requested coverage before providing a quote and installation time for another vehicle.

Can you wrap just the bonnet?
Yes. This Toyota 86 GT project is a partial wrap of the bonnet. Black carbon-look film changes the bonnet’s appearance while the rest of the body stays blue.
Is this a real carbon-fibre replacement bonnet?
No. This project uses carbon-look wrapping film on the existing bonnet. It does not involve fitting a carbon-fibre part or reducing the vehicle’s weight.
How much did this wrap cost, and how long did it take?
This 2020 Toyota 86 GT bonnet wrap cost JPY 66,000 including tax and took approximately 2–3 hours. Quotes and installation times for other cars depend on condition and additional work.
Are the before and after photographs of the same car?
