Can the car be returned to its original white color?

Yes, the original white remains underneath and can normally be revealed by removing the film. Paint condition, previous repairs and how long the film is left on the car can affect adhesive residue and removal risk.

Does color-change film protect like PPF?

No. Color-change film is mainly for restyling and helps reduce direct exposure to UV, contamination and light rubbing. It does not provide the same stone-chip resistance as thicker paint protection film.
